What's so grotesque about the Catholic church is that they have some sort of "vote" about adding new stuff to the Bible. And to suggest that some modern monk or archbishop can just add to the Word of God is disgusting. I should have said, the Bible is clear that the word of God will never be destroyed.

My only dog in this fight is adding to the word of God and doing things that CONTRADICT the Bible. The Catholic church has so many unbiblical and wicked teachings that have nothing to do with Christianity and nothing to do with the teachings of Christ and nothing to do with the Bible. That's why you will never see a Catholic cite the Bible.

I challenge any Catholic here to defend so many of their doctrines. They will shrink away and disappear under a rock.
