>1. Structure the society
No singular leaders but a circle of elder members providing whatever abilities,knowledge or expertise they have. In this circle nobody is better than the other(unofficially) albeit if some of them have scores to settle with each other they can do it only with only a small fraction of each others personal assets/forces so they don't end up exerting too many resources over trivialities but generally the society should be comprised only of Elders and members. Anyone can ascend to elder if they have the circle's approval(but more than 7 elders at a time should be avoided) or have proved themselves in a fair duel of physical,spiritual and mental prowess against the one they have served or been assigned to.
>Recruit members
Depends on what the organization will be doing but the easiest way to get drones or scapegoats for later uses is to promise them material wealth social respect and popularity. Real members will be recruited after extensive survailence and study. Then the elder's circle shall hold a vote if an invitation should be extended to any them for whatever purpose.
>Organise members and events
The newest members are only allowed to know the identity of other members of the organization only IF they make their identity public within it. The elders will naturally know who is who but must remain unknown to the members below them unless an event that might threaten the existence of the society is a foot and the masks have to come off.
Events and actions can be proposed from the members and need the approval of the circle based on the severity of it but generally if its for things such as parties(public or secret), economics and so forth they can just ask the specific elder they serve under for permission and maybe resources if they lack them.
For bigger things such as assassinations or blackmail/extorting politicians or going to war with certain powerful factions or rival societies they always must seek the elders approval.

There's no way to avoid it, eventually someone will leak info. There's loads of information about thw freemasons, yet they are still undisturbed and going about there business. I ask how do they do this?

Failure to heed any of the rules of engagement will result in that member being executed via kidnapping and subsequent chakra implosions/tearing done by a QI adept/master to prolonge their rebirth and make sure they can't remember their past life or if none can be found/are present it's excusable to just ritually behead them with a ceremonial sword by a member or in some cases an elder if they want to.

Naturally there might be times when it gets culled or nearly destroyed by rival entities so maintaining interest should be a flexible and ever changing method.
If enough resources are present
The scapegoats/low levels can be kept docile with material wealth and sometimes political power. Real members will also be allowed to requisition any of that based on the current status of the Society but mainly the driving forces behind it should be cooperation with other members and allowing them to benefit from each other and their skills. If there's no direct goal for the organization/society other than the persuit of sciences and the occult(which should be a standard procedure even if it's an assassins guild or wealthy bankers commute or something) then they can always strive to become an elder.
Information is critical both for making a commercial to your enemies and staying hidden. The most sure way to communicate with fellow members on Society matters is to make a whole new language that can only be read with a machine present in Society strongholds or bases. That way if someone sends someone else a crucial letter the medium won't be able to understand anything. Ofc any other method for hiding can be used from technology induced telepathy to monitoring and brainwashing new members so they don't ever snitch or remember how to. Methods again can change based on the status of the org.

There are 2 ways the Society can proceed when it comes to natural none-duel based elevation and position climbing first either by secretly segregating ALL the members(except the scapegoats/lows which again aren't true members but nobody would tell them that) into small "premium" group of individuals they are sure not only have the potential and the ability to not betray the order/society/whatever and try to use their own personal power to keep them alive(without spoiling them too much otherwise they will grow weak) as much as possible or either second where the elders secretly or publicly choose their own "champion" of a sorts and mentor them as much as they can. The second way an Elder woould have a backup plan if they get beaten in a duel by a underling and instead their champion will challenge the new elder and take his/her position back in a sort of way.
