US fracking has taken control of oil away from OPEC

LEAF™ is irrelevant, the biggest issue is the Saudis, the Iranians, the Russians, the Venezuelans, all of whom relied on expensive oil to fund their unproductive economies, and now the US has effectively put a lid on oil prices for years to come.

There is no scenario under which the price of oil will rise above the cost of extracting it via fracking.
The US has already absorbed most of the OPEC cuts, VLCC berthing trial runs are already underway in Corpus Christi, and even LOOP, the main import terminal for crude oil into the US market, is now testing a full reversal of its pipelines to become an EXPORT terminal instead.

This is a situation that has massive geopolitical implications. It will most likely lead to war.
