just as a heads up I just graduated from Plant and the school is infested with "trumpist" surface-conservatives. We may not have made them all in to nazis or traditional libertarians(yet), but trust me, we are winning the culture war little by little.
Can also confirm the same for other schools in the area, for example Jesuit, Cambridge, Robinson, TC, Alonso(to a lesser extent), and Steinbrenner. Tampa Prep is easily the most flamboyantly liberal school in the area.

I don't show my power level in public as I'm on a DOD scholarship for college and am about to attend a fairly liberal college, so while I do want to have a social life, I put other parts of my personality in the forefront, such as lifting, programming, trading crypto, and the business I run in my free time.
Make friends with other traits in your personality, such as the ones I listed above if any of that interests you. Then, when the time is right, reveal what you know. Make friends, seem extremely intellectual when doing so.

I'm convinced that it comes from the relative comfort of middle and upper middle class life during our childhood and that of our parents. As families struggle less, they convey less of a survival mindset in to their children. They make it seem like no matter what everything will be OK.
I'm a millennial and I wasn't taught that I was special. I was a poor white kid in a mill town. My guidance counselor told me that I was going to be a "trash man."
In middle class and upper middle class white households the narrative was "you're so special" but not in working class and poor. I was never treated as a child. I was treated as another human expected to contribute to the family through labor or monetarily.

I believe this behavior happens in generational cycles. First gen the fathers start businesses and secure the financial future of the family. Second gen runs the company decently and secures enough for the Third gen. Third gen runs the family company/wealth into the ground (cars/vacations etc etc). Forth gen lives in poverty and anger at how gen three ruined the family. Gen six starts the cycle over again like the first gen or stays poor.
Greatest gen secured the financial needs, boomers blew lots of it but mostly held on due to amazing economy. Gen X trashed the family business if it still lived. Millennials are poor and angry at the prior gens degenerate behavior. Gen Z starts the cycle again.
Overall mini cycles exist within families and some had the cycle start before or after the Greatest gen. The only thing we can be certain of is the chad is generally living in the third cycle or forth depending how degenerate. Very few families break this cycle, normally it requires insane amounts of family wealth.
