Unions used to have a purpose but they ran out of goals. Teacher unions lobby the government for more money when the US already spends more per pupil on education than any other country. It's just a pyramid scheme at this rate.

If they were just a way for employees to co-operate then there wouldn't be an issue since if they were doing a shit job you could just not sign up or go to another one.
