PAfag going to school in DE here. Pennsylvania is pretty comfy outside of all the cities and State College. Pittsburg might be okay but I haven't been there since high school, and I didn't know shit about how the world worked back then.
Delaware is a nice redpill though. The top half of the state is ultra-liberal, looks like run down shit, and has Wilmington, one of the shittiest cities outside of Jersey. Bottom half of the state is conservative and beautiful, once you get past Newark it's like going to an entirely different country.

The American plains. Mostly wide open spaces, lots of Agriculture, has money only when there's an oil boom. Pretty depressed economically right now, but its a lot harder to live here than in the south, not good times currently.

The Deep South. Alligators, bugs, swamps, and forests.
Pretty poor, cities in the south are all really dangerous, the black people can be fucking mean, and getting too deep in the woods when you don't belong can be bad too.
But rural life in the south although poor, is pretty special. Lots of fishing, people are neighborly and help each other. Everyone has to be self sufficient, but its easy out there because it never gets super cold for long periods of time.

Rural wisconsin is quiet for the most part. Pretty much go to work, enjoy time off. A lot of people hunt, fish, go camping, that sort of thing. There are enough bigger towns and cities so its not really out of the option to go do more urban setting things. Milwaukee and Madison get hairy from time to time, but its no chicago. Me personally, my lifestyle fits wherever. Go to work, hangout at home with the wife and kids, play some games and smoke some herb if i have the house to myself. Its quiet, and i like it. I could definitely see people not liking it if the want an abundance of convenience. Town i live in has one bar, a subway, two gas stations (but only one is 24 hours) and thats about it. Hell, the town i work in practically shuts down after 10:00pm. You have to go to the next town over if you have the munchies, or let alone go to the hospital. People generally reciprocate what you put into it. Neighbors can be a little nosy, but as long as you aren't causing problems then its fine. I've lived all over the states and more or less feel one place is really like another as far as basic shit and basic people, but each place has unique appeal. I also enjoy the winter, and winters can get tough here sometimes. 7.5/10 would recommend
