The UCC idea is that the federal government doesn't have the power to put people in jail for crimes, they hate have a lien against them under the Uniform Commercial Code. There's also a way to file liens against people for millions of dollars using UCC. A few of the guys in there had filed liens against some guards for a few million dollars that had prevented the guards from buying homes. The federal government made this sort of malicious lien activity illegal a few years back. This whole topic dovetails into the Sovereign Citizen movement somehow.

Honestly, I was a jailhouse lawyer for three years. I fought 7 cases for myself and others in both federal District and Appellate courts, winning 5 of those 7. I also did a lot of work with inmates on filing grievance reports. Suffice it to say, I enjoy deconstructing these seemingly intimidating systems, but I simply couldn't understand this bullshit.

There another argument out there that the 17th Amendment wasn't passed with a quorum, which is probably accurate. The only problem is that you'll never get a court to agree with you that it isn't a valid amendment. The same thing is true of this stuff: it can be technically and factually correct, but might makes right and the government will never acknowledge it.
