I literally had the same experience here in Australia. I went to a 'multi-cultural' school- Abos, Samoans, Viet refugees etc. whites were a pretty much a minority. The result? the same as yours.

Eventually if things are not dealt with, demographic shifts will lead to democrat victories in the end. But in the meantime, they're screwed. The thing that consistently fucks them that nobody pays enough attention to is voter turnout. Blacks, except when they voted for Obama, have horrible voter turnout, and other colored people don't have much better records in that regard, either, honestly. The Republicans won in 2016 for many reasons, but I think chief among them was voter turnout. Especially in close states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, and Arizona who have the minority bases that Democrats could have rode to victory on.

Consider the polls during the election, the polls now, and the way the media speaks. The dems have no clue what's really going on and it's helping the republicans so so so very much.

Dems don't need nor want racist white people who feel "alienated" by the mere existence of black and brown people directing their party.

However, there has been a messaging problem with respect to non-racist white people because of the small but vocal SJW wing. This is relatively recent.

Either way, alienating people is a much bigger issue for the party that is alienating non-white people when the proportion of white people will continue to decline. Recall that they were trying to cater more to Hispanics before Trump came in and fucked that for the foreseeable future. The GOP traded one election, a tumultuous presidency for the likely end of the party.
