Born and raised in Dublin so I can't speak much for the rest of the country, used to be super nationalist and love this island but as more shit has come to light I've really started to hate it.
Drugs and junkies are out of control in the cities. Gardai are flat out corrupt now, the government just keeps flip-flopping on stuff, throwing ideas around but never doing anything worthwhile. The HSE still isn't any better than it was. The defence forces are fucked to the point where they can't afford to pay soldiers with higher ups personally taking out loans to make sure the lads below them can feed their families. Even if the Gardai weren't corrupt and the courts useless there aren't enough of them.

The list is way longer but I feel pretty upset at how things are at the moment. Seriously considering packing up and finding work abroad like most of my friends even though I don't really want to. I know every country has issues and maybe it's just that as I've gotten older I've paid more attention but it's bad.
