Do muslim religious authorities in your country take actions to prevent radicalization of their community and more importantly their youth? Here we never really hear about them except after a terrorist attack. Some discreet prayer to the family and total rejection of the deeds done in the name of islam. Even then it's always low key our fault for being intolerant and unwelcoming. Most of the time, the perpetrator is a seemingly good boy and nobody he frequented at the mosque saw it coming. Meanwhile if the government doesn't actively track and outlaw dangerous preachers they keep operating as long as they want without apparently many complains from the muslims community. It's only when one of them gets attacked that it's blown out of proportion by every parties, muslims, medias and government. Suddenly it's all about institutionalized racism and islamophobia when really it's no different than some dude getting recruited by isis on the internet. An isolated case.
On a side note, isn't it odd that the city of Hamburg showed less concern about the knife attacker acting on is fantasy than his own roommate? He was known by the authorities as a fanatic and yet...

Maybe the problem is less about Muslims and more about Europeans allowing every minority group to do what it wants with no overwatch.
I'm not saying every Jew, muslim and pagan should have a cop stapled to their butts but you can't expect that a minority group left to fend for itself won't start caring only about itself.
