I'm going to be driving for 6+ hours next weekend. Looking for suggestions for a book or two to listen to. Pic related is what I've just finished reading.

That's the point of the book.

Can you concentrate on driving while reading ebooks? I've never tried it.

Brave New World.
not sure if this is out in audio book format yet

kinda. You definitely loose focus on the book at some points, but I'll be doing mostly highway and that is easy enough

It's not really any different from listening to talk radio

Yeah, the way with words on paper is you have to focus to get the words to register in your head. The sounds of an audiobook in your head, even if you don't immediately become conscious of them, will still be in your head after you've listened to "the full product".
I might give it a go.

Download the Greatest Story Never Told. It is better in small tidbits.

Since you're interested in politics, I propose you reading the book Sovereign Individual by Davidson and Rees-Mogg. They give a forecast for future politics and have predicted the rise of bitcoin. http://libgen.io/ads.php?md5=5EA9DFAEEC63BACF6E5EA79DF23B3BE2

I listen to Rush on lunchbreaks, but to and from work I usually do ebooks. Sometimes you have to go back and re listen cause you feel like you completely blanked out a section. You really have to focus on not letting your mind wander, but it's doable. Wouldn't recommend ebooks other than when you are driving, book in hand is better when possible.
Also with audible membership (15US$/month) you get 2 books per month, so if you do enough driving its worth it. Also get to keep everything if you end the subscription so if you get bored of it you still can go back and listen to books again.

Heres a good book by the founder of Blackwater.
Basically says how he started his businesses, did the dirty work of the CIA and eventually got smeared by the Jews as being some sort of mercenary war-profiteer.
Rise and fall of the 3rd reich

I guess in argentina, not having a vehicle means you never needed the convenience of a book on tape.
too bad you are so poor.

Road to Serfdom changed my life in better, this is a book I would recommend to anyone.

Orwell is a great publicist, but 1984 is for plebes. Better read his documentaries:
The Road to Wigan Pier
Homage to Catalonia
and his standalone articles.
