Increases in cloud cover and solar effects are considered. In reality a raise in temperature wouldn't affect the planet uniformly and would be a net positive, if we actually could speed up the warming of the planet we have no reason not to except the potential displacement (over years... not some kind of immediate doomsday displacement) of a few million people.

If the temperature raised, more land would become viable for crops, land that is viable now would become viable for a wider variety of crops. Some of the largest land masses on the planet are simply too cold to grow a variety of necessary crops.

Simply saying "the worst you can imagine" isn't a pragmatic view of the reality of the planet warming.
