If Jews are as smart as everyone says, then why were they not smart enough to prevent the Holocaust?

Buddhists were smart enough to prevent a Buddhist holocaust.
Hindus were smart enough to prevent a Hindu holocaust.
Taoists were smart enough to prevent a Taoist holocaust.

Yet Jews weren't smart enough and kept crossing boundaries. Isn't this the proof they are dumb?

I've known quite a few jews
but I've never known a smart jew
They're usually very obvious
and disliked even by people who don't know they're jews
