Modern centrist politicians don't have the white guilt trip of the previous generation. It has now been moved to the extreme left or some diehard 90' liberals (maybe what they call Balirites in the UK).

In Denmark the good old Social Democratiet (Social Democrats), who basically built the welfare state and were very active in the 90' political correctness, have made a complete turnaround. They are still as fiscally leftist as always but now they are almost on line with our extreme right parties when it comes to immigration. And people love it.

Basically the future's bright in EU, and there's still hope that we don't end in a >56% scenario. Fingers crossed.
