yeah well to be really honest it's probably because the orthodox church has had some shady connections ( at least in romania) with the communist party and yeah.. if they could fix the "buy spot in heaven with money" thingy which promotes corruption they would be way better off...

I mean as a catholic... the only "problem" i see is that orthodox aren't exactly that much practicing liturgy & other sacraments(at least the younger generations.. but then again this is also true for the catholics).. but to give them credit they are more faithful overall(percentage of pop.), even if it's by the name
