I would argue that some of PUA is useful for socially awkward guys, who either aren't that intuitive or have some sort of antisocial struggle from being sort of brought-up broken. Not having masculine figures in your life regularly can really fuck up a kid. So, in the sense that they may need to be told to get out there and approach women in-repetition until they get over that crippling anxiety, PUA is useful for them.
