Does anybody here believe that political extremes are mostly bad, or otherwise seriously misguided attempts to do well? Are there libertarians and centrists, or regular right wing folks that support Trump, yet do not advocate for particularly extreme far right positions? I don't identify with this notion of the alt-right, although I agree with many views that are attributed to the movement. I am against far left and left wing politics, as well, but some center-left people can come across as reasonable.

Moderate situations call for moderate responses whereas extreme situations call for extreme measures. Cause and effect - but you don't want to be out-extremed, so to say, by the cause. That goes for anything, far be it from limited to fringe views or alt-lite.
You'll want to win.
