Still not sure what Trump has to do with any of this. It's a loss for Senate Republicans considering a passed bill didn't even get to Trump's desk for him to sign or not sign.

If McCain really intended to crash the republican party with no survivors, he's only hurting establishment conservatives who have to return to their constituents to explain why Obamacare is still the law of the land. Establishment conservatives that, as we all recall, are part of the swamp that Trump set out to drain.

This had to be a well calculated move by someone. Push all the blame onto some guy that's literally going to die in the next couple years and stop this shit bill from passing. The healthcare bill that was proposed is pure garbage.

Now when Obamacare premiums go up the Republicans will be able to brag about how much better their plan was for the average person and will have more leverage to push whatever garbage heap they want.
