It's the exact opposite. The impositions of modern society and technology have too radically altered our lives from their natural state. Biologically speaking, humans are having their bodies being bombarded by unnatural chemicals and light, sounds, and other foreign conditions. Socially speaking, marriage and fertility rates have plummeted.
Mentally speaking, Humans feel purposeless as they feel nothing they do has meaning.

The challenge of the next couple centuries of man will be to find the right mix of technology and nature, to define and understand the ethical and moral path for the human life, and to successfully institutionalize these two things above all other competing forces.

You could argue the push toward transgender acceptance is leading more and more people to transition into a lifestyle that has an extremely high suicide rate.

Whites have lost hope. If alcohol or drug abuse doesn't distract them, they'd rather die. Look at where all the opioid abuse is happening now. White communities are in serious trouble, especially working class ones.
