No, I don't want my children to be raised into good little goys which is what everything state related these days is.
Granted, they already would be today through social osmosis from school, the internet and media.
Pretty tricky, I don't want to ruin my children by home-schooling them like some nutto, but I also don't want them to turn into tranny smartphone addicting computer gamer wastes of space. I want to give them enough freedom to grow into the person they want to be, but I also want to have some input. It's hard.

Wow. I'm a parent. These in particular are shocking. I live in Hollywood and there's definitely an systemic pedo-ish attitude toward children here. As my husband put it, it's part of the overall unconscious culture of childhood in Los Angeles, even among people who aren't overt diddlers. Needless to say we're moving in two years.

The best way to raise children is in a huge group setting run by an unbiased government with heavy funding (much more than public school funding today obviously). The locations would be massive structures which are very far apart from each other and the primary part will be a central area surrounded by residences of varying age groups (3-4 should be fine) with support structures/utilities on the border of the structure. Material efficiency would be way higher, social skills theoretically far more developed assuming that negative social behaviors are limited, and parents can pursue whatever they want without having to raise children. This would also create a net increase in employment wherever it is utilized (more desolate places would be partially terraformed like what is happening with development in Arizona atm) and the work efficiency in the new jobs will be higher due to the centralization present in this new setting/standardization being utilized heavier. Obviously this would be an option and not mandatory, but it would be logical unless the parents are going to be dedicated parents.
