The job itself is good. There are various specialties, it requires critical thinking, and you are competent to care for the health of your white family. Its nice being 3 days in and 4 off. Benefits are great and hospitals still offer pensions and 100 percent tuition remission. The money is just very good. Its not just good in high cola areas either. Plus if you study for nurse practitioner youre talking six figures easily.
