The Finns in Kokemäki river valley made an actual pact with the Svear somewhere around the 13th century. Svear also provided manpower against Novgorod. Moscovites didn't exist back then. Finns had judge and sheriff and even higher positions until the 16th century (IIRC) when they were replaced by noble men in most postions. There were lots of foreign Germans too in those new noble men so I think the ancient Nordic landowner-farmer society in larger scale changed for the worse during those times because I think these reforms applied to mainland Sweden too.
