Why is it that my lead hand at work can support a wife and child, as well as a dozen pet reptiles, on $12.50CDN an hour, when millennials can't hardly scrape through the week without begging to either their parents or Wynne?
Why is it that buddy can live in Bumfuck Ontario and not only support his family and pets, and make his $450/ month rent, while owning a truck and camper trailer, but also save up for a house, at the age of 22 in 2017, when kids choose to live in the TMV and pay $1300/ month for a studio apartment into their 30's?
Why is it that I can live in a 3-bedroom home just outside downtown in a small city for $500 a month, and go to college in the next town for $2500 a year out of pocket, on $11.80 an hour, and kids have to go to university for an $80,000 liberal arts degree to "see where it takes them," and when it inevitably takes them to serving tables, demand the government force their employers to pay them business-closing wages to pay off their six-digit student loans?
Why can't you just get your fucking shit together and learn to live frugally? Why can't you accept six months of pushing a broom at the new job as a necessary step in life, why do you have to be inherently above it? Why can't you handle working towards your goals? Are you so alienated from real work by standardized schooling and mobile games that the whole world now has to cater to you??
