As someone who has had actual training in hypnosis I find Scott's persuasion speaking and blogging quite unimaginative, even boring. He just uses run of the mill techniques that are easy to spot when you are trained at which point they lose their effectiveness. There's no substitute for raw intellect, hypnosis is just the programming language of waking consciousness (as I like to think of it) - you still have to program something useful and interesting.
