I live in the Chicago area, and drivers have become increasingly insane on the roads every year. Everywhere you go, somebody is tailing you 2 inches from your bumper, trying to pass you in no-pass zones, and nearly running into you while passing.
I thought it was just the Chicago area, but I talked to my friends who live in other areas, and they said it was just as bad where they are too.
Is it the economy? Is it nihilism? Is it politics driving everybody insane?
According to the New York Times, U.S. Traffic deaths have risen 6% for the second year in a row.

That's like a fucking epidemic.
The police don't do shit either. People are literally lined up, 2 inches from their bumper, all going by the cops and they do absolutely nothing.
Sometimes I see the cops riding other people's tails.
What the fuck is going on? This has to be a sign of society's increasing degeneracy.
