I've always had this idea of a post-apocalyptic future where small pockets of white culture (Germans, French, Poles etc.) exist huddled in the far North, living simple agrarian lives. Europe is but a myth at that point, a modern-day Atlantis that all people dream about. One day, an expedition is sent to the south, the whole crew disappearing. Plot idea: fantasy setting with a "multicultural" societey governed by a ruling elite of elves and wizards. But the bulk of the population are humans and goblins, who dont get along very well.

Now, the goblins arent inherently evil, theyre just goblins. They arent very smart, they have no cultural compunctions against stealing or violence and just really dont function very well in a human societey.

The elves and wizards insist the humans have to put up with it because integrating will prevent the wars and catackysms of the past from reocurring. Now at first the humans and goblins hate eachother, and things escalate to fighting and violence. But throughout the episodes it becomes apparent that such conflict is actually intended by the elves and wizards who wish to see the quality of life from both races decline so as to maintain their grip on power.

The humans and goblins team up, despite their misgivings and overthrow the elves and wizards, the plot is concluded by humans and goblins agreeing that they are just too different to live together and decide to found seperate kingdoms, each more uniqueley suited to its races differing wants and needs.

Overall moral is that its not wrong to be different but sometimes maintaining a unique diversity of cultures means keeping them seperate.

Subtle message will do wonders when the overtones are casual. Think of it this way, when the show is just about women, there is no male conflict or vice versa.

World building is key, is this going to be based on reality or fantasy? You can have fantasy built on a realistic foundation or you can be very abstract. Building a world built on realism will reflect stronger so caution has to be taken to no have message to strongly projected. Fantasy however can do more to subtly but caution again not to blur the message too much to where they are misunderstood.

Also note stories, movies and music have one thing in common, the need for tension and release. Stories build up to a point then have a release where all the events unfold. Of course this isn't just the major plot but also all those subtle messages you add in there too. Sometimes this can be a change in scene or even a comic relief, anything to ease the tension. This is so who ever is watching isn't left with a sour taste in the mouth after watching. If you are clever enough, they wouldn't even notice it.

This idea might not seem popular with NatSoc/WN but I always appreciated how Jack had allies such as Scotsman who were from different cultures, but were committed to the same traditionalist code of ethics that he was. Even though they may have not have been compatible or were even adversarial in nature, there was still a form of mutual respect.

Maybe this heroic knight crosses paths with warriors who fight for a cause similar to his own, the Samurai, Cherokee, Spartans, or even the Maccabees of ancient Judea who fight to defend their land from encroachment by a Communist-like enemy who desires to destroy their ancient ways and forcibly assimilate them and destroy their identity. And although he may have to fight them at times, there is still a sense of chivalry present.
