Think it's bad now? The city wants to put fucking bike lanes on that part of Queens Blvd. To do that, they're going to take away all the parking on the Queen's Blvd outer roadway. Traffic and parking in Forest Hills is already pretty bad and this will make it worse with all the people driving around looking for spots.

Worst of all, these fucking bike lanes won't be used half the year when it's too fucking cold to go bike riding. It's like there's a fucking bicycle cult running the DOT. Idiots.

Its not exact, you'd really have to walk it. The main path skirts the well on the left hand side, and the land starts going uphill gradually. The well itself is just a circle of concrete and brick with writing upon it, like a tool in the wet cement.

Bay Shore is great in parts, like most of south of Montauk. Brightwaters is still great. Main Street has lots of great bars and restaurants now, even though there are still some bums walking around.

North of Main is getting better but still shitty in parts, like 2nd and 3rd ave. Around the train station is shit, there was a double murder on the street right around there last year, shot to death.

Around the high school sucks and north of Sunrise is a mixed bag. 5th Ave north of Sunrise is basically Brentwood (spics everywhere).

New York City mayor is a huge deal, more politically significant than most countries' leaders. The problem we have here is the mayor is usually elected democratic in recent years. Back in the 70's and 80's Manhattan was becoming a dying city much like Detroit in some parts, specifically the West side. You could walk 42nd street on the far west and get mugged in broad daylight. Once the Republicans and conservatives came to power (people who know how money actually works) did the city hit a golden age, not to mention the work of our President in developing the West dock yards and investing in new buildings. Being Republican or conservative here is only common for folk of Midtown and Upper East Side. A huge majority of people are liberal and socialist for the obvious reasons but to a point in which expressing support for the president makes people look at you like a homeless person. Those political views are the norm in subway stations, the delis, and the other boroughs. Many people here see CNN as the victim and Trump the villain. Every Arab or Latino store has the #SayNoToFacism sticker on there window since he was elected. Sure, things died down, but just yesterday I was in Columbus Circle seeing some massive protest outside one of POTUS' hotels. I think it was about that statement on the military and trans people. Protests anywhere in the city are always a cringe fest. That Occupy Wall Street crap was really dumb. I work there, I was raised in a trailer park, I just worked hard. And here are these losers coming out and waving their commie dicks around complaining how we are evil cause we make allow ourselves and the American homeowner to make money off of debt, securities, commodities, and companies so that they may not need to rely on government money.
