Adoption is a nightmare since abortions are seen as sensible, and the only ones willing to part with their child are usually train wrecks with substance abuse issues who want to live to see their child do better than they did. Time starts passing much faster, friends' social lives revolve around their kids, and if you think women are bad during their "let's have experiences!" years, you're going to want to put a gun in your mouth when you have to deal with them as they try to cope with their mortality and increasing unattractiveness.

Recognise your limitations when you're young, and find a woman who recognises hers as well. Usually you'll be too shy to say hello but fucking do it. Become acclimated to each other's shitty habits and don't let them fester into resentment and "what if's". Have a fucking kid or two and find a nice social circle that you can do stupid shit with while having a reasonably good time.

Your brain will reject vidya as you age. Your mortality will force you to confront the hollowness of how you're living your life.
