Majority of USSR losses were civillians in ww2. And almost everybody here has grandparents or great-grandparents who went through WW2. Somehow nobody recalls anything good about germans. They raped, tortured and murdered millions of civillians. And they treated soviet pows worst of all.
This was the reason why people were actually willing to fight to the end - not for communism or "glorious" leader, but simply to survive.
And when you invade a country, treat people in the most brutal way - you don't whine about retalition and some rape.
And I hate soviets btw, but I hate you nazi apologists even more.
