The earth cannot be an inertial reference frame as it cannot maintain a constant velocity by the virtue of it going around the sun in an ellipse according to heliocentric model.

the air as well as the helicopter has something called momentum causing it to keep its velocity. the air further pushes the helicopter into the spinning directions. also the helicopter wont stay on the same spot because of the wind that hits it alone

>a plane flying from NYC to LA doesn't arrive any quicker than a plane flying from LA to NYC
again momentum, and also relativity. the plane starts with the same trajection the earth spins resulting in relatively the earth not moving at all from the perspective of the plane making the direction of travel irrelevant

>a plane cannot fly directly north from Mexico City at 800mph and use the 1000mph rotation of the earth to land in San Diego
again relativity. all speed is meassured in relation to the movement of the earths spinning. so a plane going 800km/h from a perspective outside the earth is just flying 800km/h faster or slower (depending on in which direction the plane flies) than the earth spins.

also nasa is fake as fuck by the way

Inertial frame of reference
It's not about the literal velocity and direction, it's about the relative change in said. When the plane sits on the tarmac in mexico city, it and san diego and the atmosphere through which it flies have the same relative change in position per second (1000mph due east). That doesn't change if the plane flies straight north, it has only changed it's velocity relative to MC, SD, and the atmosphere in the north-south axis. In an absolute sense, the plane is still moving at 1000mph due east, it's just that everything else is too so it's not obvious. In order to cancel that out, the plane would have to to exert energy equivalent to 1/2mv^2 + inefficiency due west.

Also riddle me this flatfucks, if the earth is flat, why do we not observe a horizontal component to gravity the farther you go from the center of the earth disc? The center of gravity of an object is the center of mass, which in a disc, is the center of the circle. The vector of the force exerted by gravitational attraction is toward the (displacement weighted) center of gravity. QED, the farther you got from the center of the disc, the more of the gravitational force vector would be in the horizontal axis. Therefore if the earth was flat, people in new zealand would be standing straight up relative to gravity at a noticeable angle relative to the surface of the earth
>>
>>135097829
No it's quite literaly the literal velocity.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inertial_frame_of_reference

And then combine what you said with the Coriolis effect, the earth said to be spinning underneath the plane, the Earth then changing velocity on an elliptic.

Also to think about it the force of the constant acceleration and deceleration around the elliptic would tear the Earth apart because of the alleged gooey mantle.

the water does spin at the same rate, and you're exactly right, earth does bulge at the equator, It's not a perfect sphere.

If Earth isn't a sphere then I'm sure there's a real explanation for what if actually is. It's possible we're wrong. We know so little. There's an infinite amount we have yet to discover and we will die before having discovered even a tiny fraction of what is out there. can be explained with atmospheric lensing. the atmosphere bends the light effectively creating the effect like asphalt on a hot day making it seem like the ground is rising a bit, only through the distance the effect is stronger rising it above the horizon just with less distortion as the atmosphere isnt flickering as much.

I've seen these "look at what stars really are" videos floating around youtube. it is literally easier to believe that the earth is flat than to believe this dumb shit. this is literally just an out of focus star. anybody who has ever owned a telescope will tell you this. atmospheric distortion plays a major role in what you see when zoomed in at 400x.
also i can tell you that the reason the star looks like this is because the footage was filmed on a Schmidt Cassegrain telescope, that has a large circular mirror on the front that blocks out the light.

ok, explain these 2 for me:
1. the stars on the northern hemisphere are different stars than those on the southern hemisphere.
b) The sun which is brighter than the stars, and closer to me than the stars behind from the sun dissappeared behind the horizon because it got "too far away", would dissappear because its too far away, but the stars behind it which are much dimmer and further away are still visible then for some reason (pic related)"

>>a plane cannot fly directly north from Mexico City at 800mph and use the 1000mph rotation of the earth to land in San Diego
This convinced me. Not the landing in san diego part because there would be nothing to reduce inertia. But what if you flew over the north pole? Suddenly the world is rotating in the opposite direction. But you aren't torn apart or shot into space. Nothing happens. Not saying it is flat but there is definitely more to this than we are being told.

Look you are not really making arguments. I will make one for you. The curvature of the earth is 8 inches over 1 mile. Therefore if we have a canal constructed over a True Level Datum (not using earths curvature in architecture) that is at least 1 mile long, the water should bulge 8 inches tall in the middle. There are several such canals in existence.

Now you can repeat this test looking for 2 inches over a quarter mile indoor pool, with a laser, and the water will be perfectly flat. "Water always finds it's level" is not an argument, because the water's subjective 'level' is relative to the direction of gravity, so water will always curve no matter what IF the earth is a ball.

So ... here's my claim: if we do these tests and we cannot find the curvature, it only means that the earth is far larger than we calculated. Lack of curvture does not directly mean the earth is flat, only that the curve is much more shallow than we calculated. Im not going to fight over these tests because the community has gone far beyond that and it's well known the curvature isn't there. My claim is that the lack of witnessed curvature means the earth is gigantic.
>>
>>135102877
moving object in a north/south or up/down direction (air, helicopters, and bullets) experience the Coriolis effect. Velocity is conserved. If you launch a rocket straight up, and go straight down, you'll land west of the launch site because the earth turns underneath it. If you head north, the surface velocity decreases, which means you'll end up drifting rightward (towards the east).

And the rockets we launch into space all launch east to take advantage of the rotation of the earth. But you probably already think every single nation that's launched, every single corporation that has launched or bought a satellite is in the global anti-flat earth conspiracy

something interesting. We observe the sun moving through the sky at a constant arc per second.

however, in the sky of the flat earth, this would not be the case. The sun's apparent velocity through the sky would be proportional to it's distance from you. Meaning that it would be sprinting through the sky much faster around midday, and go very very slowly at sunrise and sunset

at night you are by definition on the opposite side of the globe relative to the sun. this means that by definition, you can only see stars on the opposite side of the earth relative to the sun.

the earth takes a full year to rotate around the sun, therefore the changes in the night sky are not noticeable by the human eye from one night to the next. There are literally cosmic proportions and you're trying to notice miniscule changes after just one day with your bare eyes. typical NA tard.

the source of light is the atmosphere, not the sun directly. the light is refracted causing the illusion of the sun being directly above the clouds, as that is the source of visible light on earth. it's the same reason the sunset is red, because the red wavelength is the least effected by refraction so the rest of the light spectrum is already refracted down over the horizon where we can't see it.

When the Moon is high in the sky, it's high tide. When the Moon is at the horizon, it's low tide. During a New and Full Moon, the tides are much more extreme. During the Half Moon's, the tides are much more subdued.

Two tides per day. How does this make sense on a flat earth?

The poles are cold, the center is hot.

The flow of these winds are north/south. The jetstream is towards the northeast. The eastern wind is caused by wind moving northward retaining it's surface velocity and moving to a slower rotating part of the planet

#1 how do the poles experience a few months without daylight without axial tilt
#2 on a flat earth, all sunlight would be distributed equally. Temperature could not be based on latitude. On a curved earth, the higher latitudes would be colder because more square feet of the surface see the same one square foot of solar energy, making the poles colder.

Why would any sufficiently massive object be flat and not spherical when gravity literally forces things into spherical shapes? >>
>>135103946
Do a laser level test on open water. 8 inches of bulge over 1 mile does not exist. That's the fucking problem, the curvature is shallow. It falls short of what's calculated. The trick is to realize that these tests only imply the earth may be larger than we thought, not that it's flat. See, you assume these curvature tests are being administered improperly. They are not. The curvature really isn't there, and as soon as a person witnesses these test results for themselves they begin questioning everything and acting crazy.

But their response to said test results does not change the results. Their behavior doesn't change anything. For me it was when i brought my telescope to cape neddick in Maine and used it to watch ships disappear in the horizon. The problem was, when you looked through the scope you saw the bottom half of the ship. Even though it left the marina 4 hours ago, and is 30 miles away.

That shit changes you forever, and unfortunately for you thousands of people are doing this every day. It is going viral, and nothing can stop it.

The horizon, like this post says on the top, is a point of convergence. What it doesn't measure is the fact that the horizon also is where you cannot see anything further than that point. At sea level, it's about 5-8 km, or 3-4.5 miles. The higher you get, the farther the horizon gets due to the light from farther objects being able to reach you. The horizon is always flat, due to it actually being a circle at eye level, and the ground and sky meet there. I'm not posting sources, due to me remembering this from a few months ago.

A lot of people may say that Islam is 500 years younger than Christianity and there will be a day when Islam also prunes itself. This may be true but we don't have to suffer the same shit (actually even worse assuming that the world we live in righr know is civilized and all of human knowladge is in our fucking fingertips) twice. so you're saying that every single part of a ball is moving simultaneously at the same speed when it rotates? then how can you spin a ball on your finger without it rolling off? there's an axis of rotation where the ball will not move during the rotation. this axis of rotation for the earth is aligned with polaris, which is why earth's rotation does not cause polaris to move.

the exposure time for taking pictures of close celestials is very short; not enough time to have your silicon react to the very few photons that hit compared to the tidal wave of light that is reflected off of planets.

No, the curvature gets deeper. Its not 16 for the second mile, because you have also advanced the arc over so many degrees of that mile. I used to have the nasa chart that was drawn to scale in AuotCAD. By the time you get to 20 miles the curvature is 266 feet, not 40 fucking inches. Pic related, official math.

Remember from a linear datum the further out you go the more the arc descends from tangent, making each mile further out have drastically more curvature. You have to draw the chord to calculate this, and nasa's pre made chart is perfect for this because we are using their own data and math. You can fucking see 300 feet of curvature you idiot. You didnt even check the fuckin math!!

No shit dude, that's why he posted it. The nasa videos of the 'floating' in the space station are all green screen fakes. The crew of the challenger disaster is still alive for fucks sake, they are college professors now. National Association of Space Actors.

We have it could so we should be breeding. But not only that. We have it good so we have to breed so that we don't get replaced.

The meme term you retards usually pass along here "as above, so below" is actually a Talmudic quote that means the earth is a sphere.

We never believed it was flat, you idiot. Stop thinking it's our version, it's not.
You want me to give you the exact quote ?

Basically we're expected to believe that a bullet, when fired north or south, will mix its target to the east or west if its time of flight exceeds 1.5 seconds. Oddly enough, this is the only scenario in which this is an issue. Trampolinists, pole vaulters, long jumpers. All of them spend longer than 1.5 seconds in the air and never land east or west of their starting point due to the (((coriolis effect)))

He died a virgin. And I believe he died in the early 20th century.

Yeah right, he just didn't want to drive all the lads back in the 900's to suicide with all his slays.

Do you have it good? I mean over here even if we were living in a good community and all, the chances that I would be able to find a good job that would allow me to fund myself and my future kids is highly unlikely.I always assumed the sane for Americans with the student loans and all that shit. Ofcourse I am talking about the general idea. Also the reason I don't want kids for myself is only due to the hardships I encountered in mylife and the fear that I wouldnt be able to provide a better one for them.Lots of people who have it good do procreate tho no?

Two ships and crews were readied on volunteer funds and the ship captains were assassinated. The volunteers reorganized for a second try and the new captain was also assassinated. This stuff is years old, we are beyond voyages. Voyages never start, people just die.

yeah, rabbis can't explain shit. not to the disbelievers anyway.

you need to be known in their circle to learn certain things, this is why it's problematic.
They won't share shit if you are not in the circle and even then, there are complications.

the earth is 2d you guys are living in a 3d lie

The changing size of the sun is what's being pointed out. If it's really 93 million miles away it should appear to stay the same size.

don't announce it like total cucks, just go with a group of your buds. Get a boat capable of getting there and just go under cover of night and shit. If I believed this hocus pocus mumbo jumbo I'd fucking do it. Like hell that would be fun as fuck, going on an adventure in fucking 2016 why not?
>>
>>135107282

>>
>>135107128
No. People care only about pleasure here. Kids are usually accidents. Sometimes even if they aren't hedonists they just don't want kids because of stress. Obviously some people do have kids. Personally I think it's foolish not to have kids since that's basically an organisms objective, to reproduce. But yeah. People don't know how could they have it here.
