I've read about problems that the US military has faced because of forced race- and sex-based integration, but I don't know if I've ever actually encountered any hard data on the trans problem—does it exist?

it's not data. But through lurking leddit screenshots "4chan" anons have posted in threads on other boards, I can safely say that transgender cognition, especially right after their "gender changing surgery" will be solely focused on themselves just due to the amount of pain and re-adjustments if they are a male to female transexual. It might be easier for female to male transexuals, but they still pull the penis tubes from the vagina, so i imagine there will be a lot of pain anyways.
I dont think Trump should focus on the trannie issue right now, as it seems a very low priority for military budget control, but it seems kind of logical. If the enlisted are going to be constantly making readjustments to their nether regions, despite what little percentage of the military budget they consume, theyll basically be wasted space. Im just positing a theory though, I have no experience.
This definition assumes the second definition of transexual as "one who has undergone operation" rather than the catch-all gender identity(aka trap) transexual.

it's an obvious distraction from bigger happenings. even normies are starting to (FINALLY) catch on, and call it out as such... which makes sense because this is like the dozenth time he's done it in 2017 alone.
I know that, speaking for myself at least, I'd never want to be in any kind of high-stress situation with a trans person at my side at ALL, and, like I said, I've done reading on forced race- and sex-based integration into our military and how it's failed epically, and I also know that trans people have an insanely higher than average suicide rate... so with all these things in mind, a ban from the VOLUNTARY military seems like the least offensive thing possible. like, if the draft was reinstated tomorrow, maybe they'd even find themselves exempt, lol.
I was just wondering if there's any hard data at all, because I don't know of any myself and I'm in a sticky argument with a liberal friend, and saying any of the above would be triggering and reeeeee-worthy
