The Brazilian Senate just created a webpage in which users can create and vote for proposals that supposedly will be discussed by them. The following proposal (https://www12.senado.leg.br/ecidadania/visualizacaoideia?id=83543) is entitled "Prohibit taxation, as taxation is theft". As soon as the proposal hits 20.000 votes, it will be delivered to the senators so they can discuss it. Sure thing they won't discuss shit, but hopefully it gets media coverage. The instructions, after you have clicked the URL, are:
1. Click the "Apoiar" green button, (Which means support)
2. Click the "Confirmar" blue button
3. Login with Google or whatever
4. Select a state, doesn't matter which, just select any of them
5. Click "Confirmar" again
6. Profit ???

It wouldn't make them prohibit it. It'd just make them consider it as a suggestion. The only result would be some fresh polemic in support of taxation.
