Yeah unless you're using a vpn, the day they made the switch 4chan and some other sites were blocked for existing customers, all you had to do was ring them and say you wish to have the filter turned off. As far as i'm aware things like reddit/tumblr weren't blocked which is confusing considering the amount of "offensive" material you can find on there (not just porn)

New customers get asked when they sign up if they want to opt in or not.
