I'm unsure where I fall on the political spectrum and would like to know more about libertarian-ism. Is it just a meme? Is there something there?
Put it this way, the Tao te Ching was the first libertarian text and it's still a system that hasn't been deliberately tried.

It's a meme.

Libertarianism is just limited government. Nothing more. The specifics vary from person to person but in general they support laissez faire economics and oppose state enforced morality.

Libertarianism is a meme.
Ancap, on the other hand, is true redpill.
Libertarians/classical liberals/freedom lovers definitely have the best literature of any political philosophy.
One read of The Law by Bastiat, Anatomy of the State by Rothbard or Democracy the god that failed by Hoppe is enough to get people fired up and ingite a passion for freedom and a hatred of authoritarianism.
They've also got the best quotes.
