The man of the future will be of mixed race. Today's races and classes will gradually disappear owing to the vanishing of space, time, and prejudice. The Eurasian-Negroid race of the future, similar in its appearance to the Ancient Egyptians, will replace the diversity of peoples with a diversity of individuals.
Instead of destroying European Jewry, Europe, against its own will, refined and educated this people into a future leader-nation through this artificial selection process. No wonder that this people, that escaped Ghetto-Prison, developed into a spiritual nobility of Europe. Therefore a gracious Providence provided Europe with a new race of nobility by the Grace of Spirit. This happened at the moment when Europe's feudal aristocracy became dilapidated, and thanks to Jewish emancipation.

>>134972684

Nah, people always sperg out from time to time without fully understanding what they're going on about. Take the traditional labour force backing Enoch Powell, they clearly didn't understand his actual fanatically free market policy, they just heard him *blaming* golliwogs for their shit pay. But did that "movement" result in anything substantial?
Brexit was just another sperg out by people who didn't understand what was going on headed by charismatic salesmen. It's now being headed by a massively degraded government that in its majority doesn't want to do what it is tasked to do. But very few give a shit about the actual boring details of what's going on, they just want their tabloid headline to read "WE'RE OUT".
I use the analogy now and then that we're children voting for our meals and we've voted sweets for every meal. To expand on that, we're now diabetic and every and angry about it and we are screaming at he doctor to fix it, while unwrapping another Mars bar.
Reminder that if you don't carry a basing agent like bicarbonate of soda around with you at all times in London you are acting like a fool.

Migration is now a perfectly acceptable thing to talk about, much more so than it was 10 years ago. All major political parties now accept that we are going to end up leaving the EU including the single market, and although none of them seem to want to do anything about migration or challenging some of the EU laws we will be integrating, or any of the other ties, we at least have the opportunity to be doing something about it, which surely has to be better than nothing at all. The Overton window has shifted to the right, not as far as is really needed for significant change, and I'm not saying I'm happy with that amount, but it is something.
>I use the analogy now and then that we're children voting for our meals and we've voted sweets for every meal. To expand on that, we're now diabetic and every and angry about it and we are screaming at he doctor to fix it, while unwrapping another Mars bar.

Can someone please explain this baby court case to me?
As far as I can see, the GOSH/NHS had stopped a child from going to America months ago to get some treatment simply because their opinion was the treatment wouldn't work. So? Why not give it a chance anyway? If it works, great, if it doesn't, the child was dying anyway. According to the American doctors, the child still had a chance for treatment until last April, but now it is too late. This court case has been dragging on since January, the NHS had effectively prevented the child from having life-saving treatment that was no risk to them.
Why? Why did three separate courts side with the NHS when it looks obvious to me that the GOSH/NHS is in the wrong? Am I missing something here?

>>134977215
They didn't want to show up that the NHS is now shit-tier healthcare compared to the rest of the world.
How would you close the deficit lads?
>>134977215
>Why not give it a chance anyway?
The government thinks it owns us and can regulate whatever behaviour it likes.
>>134977393
Hyper-inflate the pound through quantitative easing so you can default on your loans, hugely lowering national expenditure, whilst also using it as a justification to cut basically anything more socialist than an Ayn Rand wet dream. Then start a new currency and proceed from square one.
>>134977131
You should be fine until around 23 years from now.
>>134977301
>>134977413
That's what it looks like to me when their only argument was their opinion and the accusation that the doctor had some financial connection to the drugs. Well so what if the doctor invented the drugs? That doesn't make it less likely the drugs will work. It sorely looks to me like this was a case of ego and vanity and refusing to admit they were wrong. Just like that Spanish baby case a few years ago.
But what I can't understand is why 3 courts sided with them. I know the government controls the courts (the same as what the Polish are currently fighting against), but the EU court has no love of the British government. What made them side with the NHS?
>>134977131
You are fine because presumably you will adapt. All these mongs shorting BP stock are going to be completely financially raped when they start buying up all the wind and solar farms.
>>134977778
>That doesn't make it less likely the drugs will work
It's not, "the treatment won't work BECAUSE he's connected to it," it's, "the treatment won't work AND he's connected to it." Essentially, the US doctors' position of, "of course it'll work," is difficult to trust because of his own vested interest
>What made them side with the NHS?
Could it be that the staff at GOSH are actually knowledgeable paediatric specialists, who are entirely qualified to assess the likelihood of the treatment working and have no personal stake in trying it or not? Nah, it must be that they're just control freaks who hate babies.
>>134978061
Dr. Michio Hirano, a neurologist at New York's Columbia University Medical Center
Who are they to decide they are more specialist than an Ivy League researcher? Even if they are UCL researchers themselves they aren't in a position to say another researcher is wrong without trial - that is nonsense and you know it.
>>134978260
He's qualified, sure, but that doesn't change the fact he has a personal interest in the treatment, both for professional advancement and financial gain, and so it's hard to take what he says at face value.
>Even if they are UCL researchers themselves they aren't in a position to say another researcher is wrong without trial
They're in a position to look at the proposed treatment and apply their own knowledge of paediatric medicine and the individual patient to it to assess the likelihood of it actually doing any good rather than prolonging the suffering of the child
>>134978061
The GOSH doctors are general paediatric specialists, what if a doctor who spent a lifetime studying this specific disease was actually more knowledgeable about the treatment than NHS doctors? Or is the doctor who is considered a world expert on the disease now a quack simply because GOSH decided he was?
>>134978452
I find it interesting that you believe that this doctor would respond to a personal professional and financial incentive but the GOSH doctors do not have a professional incentive.
>>134978662
What exactly do they gain by discontinuing treatment? Other than a dead baby?
>>134978751
If they go to the US and this chap cures what they've failed at for years I think it's pretty clear.
>>134978807
> what they've failed at for years
They've not failed at anything, they've not been trying to 'cure' the kid because no curative treatment exists, currently at least. They don't look bad for not just throwing shit at the wall and hoping something sticks when they don't have the resources to even plan experimental treatments themselves.
>>134978807
I think they are more likely to be paranoid about making mistakes publicly, it's the absolute worst for a doctor.
>>134978061
>>134978452
Him having a personal interest in the treatment shouldn't matter. This is making him sound like he is some crook or fraud when he could simply genuinely want to help the child with a treatment he worked a lifetime to find.
Besides, even if he was doing it for personal interest, so what? If the doctor would have been putting his reputation on the line and if it didn't work, the NHS would have let the child die anyway and his reputation and financial gain would have stalled. It was in his best interest for the treatment to work. So why not give the treatment a chance?
>tfw too smart to fit in with working class too dumb to fit in with middle class
>>134979086
>>134978941
This and what I find particularly annoying is the GOSH doctors and government have decided their definition of morality is superior to both the parents and this researcher. It is being argued as if this American has decided on a whim to fly some kid over to New York knowing full well he is going to die which is a pretty disgusting opinion to have on anybody you don't know desu.

>>134979149
Class isn't always indicative of intelligence, perhaps this is more of a confidence issue.
>>134978751
Exactly, so why not give the other treatment a chance?! They had nothing to gain from letting the baby die other than protecting their own vanity at the risk their opinion was wrong. This court case has been nothing but a disaster for GOSH, even if the court sided with them.
Why say "no" and guarantee the child dies, when there was a treatment that even had a 0.1% chance of success? What risk was it to GOSH? Is it because they are not allowed to endorse treatment that is not provided by the NHS? They would have nothing to do with it other than the baby being transferred out of their hospital to America. I really cannot understand GOSH or the courts' decision here.
>>134979609
Wouldn't want to undermine the state's authority over the child now would you? The family unit is strong, that's why overbearing governments seek to undermine it.
>>134979609
Their argument was that it would pre-long the suffering so they went on to do 6 months of legal wrangling to defend their definition of morality.

Oh I'm not devoid of optimism, I'm optimistic about my education or flirting with that coffee girl, or I'll get enough work to live comfortably enough. But when it comes to our broken poltical system, then no.
As I've gone into some depth before, political parties are not mechanism to improve the country but tailored to win votes. improvement techniques are often very unpopular, especially with a society as fractured and individually opinionated (and often ignorant) to at least a sizeable portion of the electorate.
To take any serious stance in politics is your alienate a large portion of the electorate, this is why neither major party took a balls in gamble with the referendum, even now, because almost as many disagree as agree.
Poltical party survival does not depend on if you support free a Indian girl for every Englishman or if you want to gas every non white on earth, they just are concerned that both of you vote for them.

Nothing other than the abuse of authority. as far as I can see. I can't why if the NHS can't do anything for the patient, that they can't just allow the patient to be treated elsewhere. Any other hospital or treatment has nothing to do with them.

He admitted a few weeks ago that there was only a 10% chance of success prior to reading the scans too, so it isn't as if he led them on at all.
But the court case was more about whether the NHS had the right to prevent them seeking alternative treatments, rather than whether any specific treatment would work anyway.
>>134981452
Poor kid has been wrongfully kept alive because he became a political football. He's in a near vegetative state and in lots of pain with no hope of any recovery. Yanks came in and offered treatment because they want to make a name for themselves and test their drugs. Parents were filled with false hope, doctors were derided by the press for putting the child before the parents, and the whole thing became a game for the media and politicians.
>>134981452
For context, this is in response to the July MRI scan, after 6 months of stalling and court battles. The doctor believed treatment was possible when scans were done in January and April if the NHS had just dropped the case and allowed the child to travel.

The hospital wants to send the kid to a hospice, which is designed for this sort of thing and more comfortable than a hospital. But again, if the parents want to set up care in their home privately, then the NHS should have no right to stop them. But it sounds lie the parents expect the hospital to provide the care, in which case, this time I side with the hospital. But they are still pieces of shit for guaranteeing the child's death.
