How do you feel about Michigan and the Michiganders?

Outside of Dearborn it's ok.Even parts of Detroit are nice, e.g. the DIA or some old churches. Also lot's of outdoors, which I enjoy

Mom is from Michigan. Lived in the suburbs of Detroit because of white flight. Used to visit relatives in the UP who live on Lake Michigan, I miss those trips

Still got family there, but it's sad to see a once great state fall so far.

West side near Grand rapids is pretty good, even some of thr east side is alright.
