American Values Party – Quick Policy Gestalt
“Everything you do matters.”
The Nation is only as strong as its people, the American Values Party therefore aims to take a bottom up approach to governance, and improve the quality of our population, by giving the citizens of this great union of states a platform to improve their lives, and we may improve the nation from the citizen upward.

I. The American Network
a. The American Individual
The American Individual is all which the nation is grown upon. The Individual is what cleans the streets, fixes the truck, constructs the building, plans the building, teaches the student, writes the algorithms, manages the bank, and runs the nation. Therefore the individual is the basis for the Nation. Having a strong individual is the basis for a strong nation, therefore the American Values Party encourages a bottom up approach to the Political System. Instead of changing the world through large government programs designed to affect millions without thought of the individual, we must develop each individual into their greatest potential self, mentally, emotionally, morally, and physically.

b. The American Family
The American Family is the extension of the American Individual. A large emphasis is placed upon the family because the family is what shapes and molds our young citizens into what they will become and without a strong family structure of support for all upcoming productive citizens, we cannot reliably provide for our children and their peers. We must lead the individual to value the family, as it is the last frontier in times of trial and tribulation, however it is also the origin of all thought and culture, therefore we must support the family after the individual.

II. The Health of the Nation
a. Health of the Individual
The Health of the individual is of utmost importance to the individual. Without a healthy citizenry we cannot reliably grow and develop our nation. Therefore our stance on health is important. We believe in preventative education on health facts, and lead a healthy lifestyle, using this preemptive care policy, including heavy education starting at a young age, we can better prepare for a future without illness or ailment.
As a party we support a slimmed down version of government aid to serious medical incursions, and support a change to aid for large medical costs that can be unprepared for, and possibly not covered by insurance due to the pre-existing conditions clause. We cannot support the abolishment of the preexisting conditions clause, however we can work through tax incentives and speaking with the insurance companies to devise a strategy to provide for every Individual citizen, and leave no citizen behind.

III. The American Intellect
The American Intellect is what led the world for years. Since the early inventions of Benjamin Franklin, our nation has been led by the individual striving for excellence in the art of innovation.
The importance of education is the first step to improving our future. The American Values Party wants to increase education spending to allow for our children to better be prepared for life after student hood. The American Intellect has always been led by the STEM fields, along with a unique American philosophy. We believe an earlier start to schooling, with less intensive teaching, more focused on communication skills in between peers, and cooperation in order to help serve the group is key towards developing a strong core of young adults. Therefore we propose adding Pre-Kindergarten to all families, in order to prepare children for communication and integration into the nation.
A greater importance will be pushed towards thinking and cooperation, and we would like to shorten school days to allow the youth to be kids. The critical development between 3 and 6 means these young citizens need to be socialized and enjoy themselves.
Primary education should build off this extension into earlier life, and a shorter work day can aid in leading to more efficient use of time.
The American Values Party also highly values the participation of physical education, and we believe running a mile once a week is not an effective way to garner love for physical activity, nor create livelong fit individuals, therefore we propose a push towards sports and classroom education at the later stages of primary education in order to greater increase the number of sports players in the next generation.

IV. American Criminal Justice
a. Rights of the Individual
i. We believe wholeheartedly in the literal application of the Bill of Rights as stated in the Constitution of the United States.
b. The Death Penalty
We do not believe the Death Penalty is an effective measure to stop or otherwise dissuade any actor from committing crimes or malicious acts including but not limited to murder, manslaughter, and Terrorism.
c. The Drug Policy
The American Values Party has the stance that the federal government should have final say in what drugs and narcotics are available in the nation, through advisory of the Food and Drug Administration. However, we do take a liberal stance on this, promoting the decriminalization of narcotics viewed as non-lethal (specifically marijuana). We promote the end of the ‘Drug War’ as it is an ineffective way of stopping abuse of drugs. We believe through education from a young age, we can prevent the use and abuse of recreational and detrimental drugs, much like the ability of the American people to move away from the use and abuse of alcohol and tobacco in the majority of the population.
However the American Values Party does not endorse, nor encourage use of any drugs or alcohol we cannot in good conscious control the use of substances by American citizens.

V. Culture and Greater Society
We believe the American culture is being lost. The American Values party strives to instill a work ethic and productive world view into its members. We believe each individual of the larger nation has the ability to make the world an infinitely better place, and therefore we encourage individuals to seek the best version of themselves through education and thorough thought into individual actions. We promote a healthy lifestyle, however we understand the necessity of individual rights, and will not make anything illegal in regards to how people treat themselves in regards to health. Although the society does not want to burden individuals who make poor health choices, not everyone is perfect, and it is through society we can overcome our individual shortcomings.

VI. Economic Affairs
We believe American business is being strangled by reckless spending in places that do not produce any economic profit. We believe an Audit of the Armed Forces and peace keeping agency’s in order to better assess the value of their contribution to the standard citizen. Let the Party stance be clear, we will eliminate waste in the system, and ‘cut the fat’ so to speak, however the best offense is a good defense and we will not cut funding to any branch of the armed forces deemed vital to the security of any individual.
The American Values Party wants to recover the American drive in business. The drive to be the best. We must cut taxes on the lower bracket earners, give tax credit to growing families, and encourage infrastructure spending in order to provide jobs for the young and those seeking employment. Through hard work, anyone can be the wealthiest man on the planet, and the government should not stand in the way of that dream of some. Economic prosperity is what grew this great nation, and we should strive to recapture the entrepreneurial spirit that shaped the nation after reunification.

VII. The Environment
The environment is shared by all, and therefore we must be conscious of our detriment towards Mother Nature. We do not support the force of government doctrine to force out industry for ‘green’ purposes. However we must strive as a nation to innovate in order to keep the earth healthy, just as we strive for the individual to be healthy. This means we must encourage research into renewable energy and take our gaze away from foreign oil and resources. We must make American produce again, and not take from others, including mother earth. However we can do this in a holistic and non-intrusive way, and without the need of force, but through cooperation and win/win/win/win situation for the Citizenry/Government/Businesses/and Mother Earth.
VIII. Government Operations
The Federal United States government and state governments has grown gluttonous with the advent of numerous management positions that have bogged down our government. We must spend time looking inward to improve the nation, although our platform relishes improving the citizen, the government’s current operation is sluggish and uninspiring, we must as a nation look for ways to automate our government in certain forms in order to cut down on spending, and increase the quality of life for the citizenry.

IX. Social Welfare
The American Values Party understand that people fall on hard times, and that is always tough on the individual, family, and society. We must however not sink into the fallacy that free handouts will results in a return to the productive workforce in the majority of recipient’s, therefore we must work to improve our infrastructure by using the temporarily unemployed to improve our situation. Through public works, we can enhance our ability to reach each other, do business, and enjoy our lives together. But also we can provide valuable experience to millions of unemployed, disabled, and disenfranchised citizens through providing work to them. Someone needs to drive the engine of the nation, and that is found inside our nation, not in foreign lands.
We agree that citizens should have access based on tax bracket to a emergency fund provided by the social services for a short time to get back on your feet, however after a certain period, we ask the citizen to do something to improve the nation and the community, and we will offer jobs to the unemployed to give them valuable work force experience, but more importantly
X. Foreign Affairs
The American Values Party understand the importance of the United States in foreign affairs, and understand the role we play as leaders of the free world.
However we believe by leading through example, we can lead the world into a better place, by focusing on the best interest of our citizens, and guiding them to make better decisions, in their business, and personal lives, and that investing in your population leads to great success, we can lead the world in a new direction, away from poverty and conflict, and towards cooperation and prosperity for all humans, not just Americans.

XI. Immigration
The American Values party believes having strong borders is an important factor in developing a National culture and identity. However we do not advocate for closed borders.
We have 3 simple criteria for immigrants:
1. Speak English conversationally: You should not seek immigration into a nation if you do not speak the language, we aim for all immigrants to integrate into the American Culture of excellence, and not being able to understand that culture is the number 1 reason people are not able to excel as immigrants, therefore we refuse to accept immigrants that do not at least conversationally speak English except for humanitarian, non-permanent immigrants.
2. Want to be a part of the American culture: If the immigrant is coming for nefarious purposes, we cannot in good heart allow a malicious individual into our country. It is as simple as that, any feelings or proof uncovered by an immigration official as to why a potential immigrant might be malicious in intent will result in refusal of entry.
Of course Immigration officials can only admit a certain number of immigrants, and the higher qualified the immigrant, the higher the chances of entrance and grant of a green card, Visa, or citizenship. The less skilled must wait, as the skilled sacrificed their time and intellect in order to educate themselves in the world, and therefore are entitled to be given entrance to our great nation first.
However let us be clear, any attempt to enter the United States illegally, regardless of family ties within the nation, will be met with deportation. There are laws, and we must abide by the laws of order.
The American Value Party will have a very narrow pathway for amnesty providing the immigrant was brought the Nation as a minor, or if they can prove they were trafficked against their will.
