I had her in a "larger" specimen tank (50 gallon), so she never bothered anything. America was discovered 5 centuries ago. Recorded human history is around 5000 years. First hominids appeared around 2 million years ago. There's 1000 million years in 1 billion years. Earth is around 4.5 billion years old.
Hominids existed for about 0.04% of Earth's lifetime.
Imagine how many species evolved and perished in that huge amount of time. Countless species, that far outnumber those that exist today.
When you put things into perspective, they make more sense don't they. Random mutations in a very small percentage of cases gave some organisms an edge. Millions of random mutations later, you get something like what's posted ITT.

Just curious, but how do Atheists explain the emergence of the first cell?
