Can't tell you how often Paganism was shunned in our country before 20th century.
And it all goes back to how Slovenes were forcefully Christianised.
Still, some of the Pagan traditions survived to this day and have even become national holidays.
Oh yeah, we had "Halloween" before anybody else. =P
