Absolutely not. All the Poles in my neighbourhood work hard and are very friendly. The local Polish shop the girls give me "scrappi" (the waste bits of sliced pork meats and cheeses) for my dogs for free. My mum even went as far as to put a couple of £20 notes in a Xmas card for the staff - who immediately chased her down the street to hand it back, but totally appreciated the Christmas card itself.

I think generally the Poles (and the Ghurkas too) are loyal and deserve a certain allowance when it comes to being honorary Brits.
