I was born and raised catholic, but I never felt connected to it. About 10 or so years ago, I found odinism/asatru and converted. I feel a connection with the old gods. The nnv's are reasonable and make me feel like a be5ter person. I find myself constantly doing what I feel is right, and making myself physically and mentally better, in hopes of catching Odin attention.

Recently quit smoking and dipping so I was filled with energy and decided to make some Runes.
Found some nice ones to benefit me and my growing family, found some birch and sawed three medallions and cut runes into them, painted them. A better bet would be to learn Icelandic since it's an evolved form of old Norse, is spoken by more people so It's easier to study and you can get works by Snorri Sturluson or the Icelandic sagas in Icelandic fairly easy and inexpensive.
