If anything most Americans don't give a fuck, because they know the rest of the world just hates us because they're jealous. At the end of the day, we're still the most prosperous country on the planet.

Rarely see Americans get butthurt about burger memes, shart in mart, etc. Meanwhile, poos and other groups will get visibly flustered about the memes about their countries.

I find they love to freak out and laugh about everyone else's problems and get all sanctimonious... as if their own problems aren't massive enough... as if America isn't the one creating/exporting a lot of these cultural problems.

They should be showing solidarity, but they get on a high-horse and point and be loud, obnoxious blowhards. it's a very strange phenomenon.

I myself love Australia despite its faults however I an acknowledge that there are some aspects which are better in other countries and some which aren't. So far, the Americans I have seen/watched/encountered have felt fine with their actions in the last 100 years. E.g looking at the invasion of the Middle East or forcing other countries to use their currencies, a lot of folks see nothing wrong with that. It's good for them but America isn't isolationist anymore, their actions have impacts on other countries. Yeah, Japs are good but I don't watch anime very frequently, I have only watched stuff like Initial D, Dragonball, Card Capter Sakura and a few others. It isn't like the television they produce in the states or films. Although recently, the films produced are very average. Television is still good though. A lot of games I play are from America although I do like Jap games like Ace combat, and right now I am playing MGS TPP. The issue is that, since the removal of the USAs entertainment output would be quite dramatic. Sure other markets could try and make up for it but it wouldn't quite be the same.
