I do have a half decent one though.
Back in secondary school, was about 16. Sort of friends with a girl I really liked (only girl I liked actually). Use to walk with her after history class to English and talk. One day she mentioned a party she was going to at the weekend, I was too autistic to realise she was asking me to come, so I kept on talking like a Rightly and couldn't figure out why she seemed disappointed. Next week I hear a bunch of her friends saying how the girl went to the party, was on her own most of the night and ended up giving a blowjob to some twat because she was drinking and he was the only person she knew there. My soul died that day. Look what I have become now. A kissless virgin I remain.

Bombed my A-levels (from straight As at GCSE), lost all my friends and had a mental breakdown all for one reason - a girl stringed me along for the entirety of my secondary school life for a laugh. We went on dates, days out, kissed etc. then she got bored and went to the police telling them I was a stalker, resulting in a police warning. This then happened two more times before I completely broke down, retreated from all public life and became a complete recluse for a few years.

If I managed to pull together some semblance of a life after that then anyone can. Do not AMA.

Well, seeing as I'm a neet with no law degree to speak of, I just take 1/4 of the time I'd spend shitposting on Brit/pol/ and apply it to constitutional law. Its something I hold a genuine interest in and its patriotic in its own way.

It's benefits are having in depth knowledge of the British constitution, one of the most complex in existence because it is uncodified. Overall, it took 2 weeks to compile that, and around 6-7 months of studying overall to have a basic understanding of what mostly all of those bits of legislation are.

I don't know what to say. Try studying Henry II, the English Civil War, the Glorious Revolution etc. Pick up a subject of interest to go along with the legal and more boring side.

Bodenposting for the fuck of it

>A hundred years ago, Christianity was an overarching system in our society, for those who went along with it socially, for those who believed in it in a deep core way. It’s now virtually — apart from small minorities — invisible. It’s extraordinary how a faith system that can shape a civilization in part for a millennium-and-a-half to two millennia, can disappear. Those who say that certain ideas and ideals are impossible should look at what’s happened to many of our belief systems.

>A hundred years ago we had an elite. We actually had a government. We really haven’t had a government in this country, pretty much, for about 100 years. Not an elite that knows what it wants and understands its mission in life, and that will hand on to people after it, and that comes out groups that exist before it. We’re ruled by essentially a commercial elite, not an intellectual elite or a military elite or even a political one, but a commercial, profit-and-loss one.

>And things have slid to such a degree now that if asked what does it mean to be British, probably about 8 million of our people will say Posh and Becks. That’s what it means for many people inundated to the tube, and its vapid nonsense.

>We face a situation in the West, where, paradoxically, spiritually we’re in a far worse state than the people who lived under communism. And this is one of the great ironies, because amongst its manias and the rest of it, communism froze things. It froze things glacially for 50 years in many respects. And much of the decay, the voluntarist decay, much of which we’ve imposed ourselves, because of ideas that successive generations of our leaders have adopted from themselves and from others, didn’t occur to the same degree in the East: the idea of self-denigration, that patriotism is the worst evil on Earth, that patriotism is one-stop from genocide, that you own group is always the worst group. This hadn’t been institutionalized and internalized quite to the same degree. It’s perverse that peace and plenty can produce more decadence and decay than hard-line Puritanism, artistic philistinism, queuing, and terror. But that’s what’s happened!

You need to stop trying to escape your problems by focusing on politics and happenings. They're not going to go away. Take a long break and have a good think about your predicament. You're a smart kid. You'll figure it out. But It's going to take some work.

>And in this society liberalism has learned how to rule in a far more sophisticated way. Towards the end of the quasi-Stalinist state in Czechoslovakia secret policeman were looking under people’s beds for abstract paintings and jazz music and this sort of nonsense. The West allows people to dissent, just to think in their own little boxes, and don’t give a damn. Doesn’t bother to ban books because 40% of the population can’t read them anyway. This is how liberalism rules. It doesn’t allow the privilege of dissent, because it disprivileges dissenting ideas. And if people can’t think, and those ideas aren’t worth anything anyway, it’s invisible. And therefore you don’t even need to “persecute.” You can put economic pressure on people, so you got a choice to be sort of decanted from bourgeois life if you manifest in public certain types of opinion. That’s one of the pressures that’s put on people. That’s done deliberately to stop people who have education forming in the head, forming a brain, forming an elite with the fist. And that’s done quite deliberately, so that the leaders will be choked off.

>My time with anon had come to an end. During our time together, I had learned about his general cynicism and misanthropy but also his irreverent, self-deprecating style of humour and his ability to show compassion toward those who shared his "feels". What had started as a journey into the "dark side of the internet" had become a poignant investigation into the lives of wayward young men. With no community to fall back on and plenty of free time to spend online, they had forged an alliance not out of common interest, but a common sense of displacement. Although they have been attacked in the media as Nazis, perverts and nihilists, the picture I was presented with was one of loneliness and desperation. I finally realised that the "Internet Hate Machine" hates nothing more than itself.

To be fair to him the lad has good taste, writes well, knows what he is passionate about and is staunch in a charmingly stubborn way. I managed to redpill the fuck out of my only real pal on the course who I also happened to live with and it was really incredible having someone to tear the ideology that we were being taught to shreds when we got home and discuss the tenets of real literature and the noble fundamental ideas of the humanities pre-Frankfurt School / School of Resentment subversion. One of the things that irks me the most about doing the course was I would write a fair amount of poetry to a decent standard and really enjoy doing so prior to enrolling, one of the reasons I did it really, and now although I am technically better my creative output is basically zero due to in a way I can only describe as having my passion crushed. You're right about most people forming social groups around these ideologies, during my graduation I overheard the girl in front of me say 'these robes are a bit sexist aren't they' and you should have heard the cheer when they announced they would be studying Harry Potter on one of the modules next year in lieu of something of literary worth, the degeneration was palpable but oddly cathartic.

I was watching an old British movie from the 50's earlier.

The amount of industry you can see in the background of the shots is astounding. It was in some (now) shitty Northern city, but you can see so much industrial activity in the background. Britain was thriving.

It made me sad to think of the kebab shop high streets pitted with a few betyting shops and job centers.

While I understand that that outlook is a natural response to the state of our nation, sitting here focusing solely on it and making 850 posts a day every single day on this bleak board while you're unemployed, friendless, virginal and living with your parents at 24 years of age is holding you back. I would say it's a personal decision, but smoking weed constantly isn't good for you.
I smoked pretty much every day for around 10 years.
For me it was a placebo, a replacement for actual fulfillment in life/suppressor for depression. I could smoke a joint right now and suddenly everything would feel great again.
But I shouldn't be taking a placebo, I should actually try to sort myself out, and weed destroys all motivation and ambition to do that, so I've decided to go without.

I've often pondered this. What did they intend to replace the industries post-globalisation influenced outsourcing? Obviously not everyone has the skills to work in finance / office jobs. Just people working in service jobs serving people working in service jobs. What the fuck kind of basis is that for a meaningful and productive existence, especially when even doing that has become increasingly difficult due to the massive dilution of wealth and spending power as a result of neoliberal mass immigration polices. Shit's fucked.

Ok lad, it comforts me that you know what you are in for at the least as for a lot of people it's along the lines of 'oh so you like reading books kids? I'm the learned prof and I'm here to tell you what they're REALLY about [COMMENCE IDEOLOGICAL BRAINWASHING].' You sound similar to myself in the social sense an in honesty I had a pretty good time and made a couple of brotherly-level friends alongside the stream of forgettable acquaintances. I've only gotten through Ulysses but I really enjoyed the way it was written, especially the descriptions of long stretches of waving grass that still stand out in my mind, and vowed to go back to it and seek out references once I had a bit more of the canon and bible knowledge under my belt. One of the funniest times I had was my /lit/ ex-gf (who I think fell in love with me as I lent her a copy of Woolfe's 'a room of one's own' kek) asking me in bed if I'd read his letters regarding Nora and the farts, big fat fellows and all the rest of it and then when I said no proceeding to read it to me whilst I was in absolute stitches.

There's a great Samuel Beckett play you remind me of called Krapp's Last Tape. Its on youtube. Main character Krapp is an old man living alone who on each birthday records a tape talking about his year and listens back to the old ones when he used to have happiness and wonders how it all went wrong. You'll cry if you watch it. I worry its how you, me and rightly will end up.

So, considering the current e-celeb drama, are traps gay?
Consider both trap x man and trap x woman.
Also reminder that traps != transexual or transvestite

In my opinion; trap x woman isn't gay, in fact doujins of a woman getting pounded by a dominant trap are pretty good, on trap x man, the Romans and Greeks figured that out long ago. The trap might be a little gay, but the man behind him isn't.

It's a relief to go about my day, be a man in daily life

And then with him...I can be his softhearted, submissive cuddle, I can be held by him, kiss him, feel safe in his arms, spend time with my best friend in the whole world I can be myself with, I don't need to act hard or tough, I can just be sweet and vulnerable with him, he takes control and I go to a place off pure happiness with him

Having a man inside you, and being free of the pressures of heterosexual sex. It's liberating.

My heart just soars with him,

Only heard this one for the first time the other day and I was stunned how much his words resounded with my own thoughts, down to the cotton mills of lancashire (I just want to buy reasonably priced comfy English-made cotton shirts goddamnit) and the wool plants of Yorkshire, the exporting and trading of wool traditionally affording Britain the wealth and power to become as successful as she did.

I'm pretty comfortable with life all up to the point where it comes to sex, I don't like women, I can't relate to them and I certainly find them repulsive.

I can be a big tough guy at the gym and have a comfortable work life and go to the pub. But when it comes to the bedroom and relationships, I gotta have my darling hunk, sex and you don't end up with some alien that talks about shoes or clothes and then becomes moody at the end of the month

Is tyranny still a bad thing if it doesn't touch your life in a way you don't like? I feel like I'm supposed to believe that tyranny is a good thing so long as we get nice trinkets as payment, I feel like a bad person for thinking tyranny is wrong. Everyone is just so happy to live in it that they make me the bad person for talking bad about it. Is it worth fighting something if those you fight for would hate you for what you do?

When I read august kubizek's 'the young hitler I knew' I really related to Hitler's almost religious fanaticism for stefanie, it made me stop seeing him as a monster and begin to see him for what he was.

Can anyone explain the "Brexit divorce bill"?

Why would there be any cost with leaving? Simply stop the direct debit to the EU, stop showing up to meetings, and tell all Eurocrat cucks that they are fired

Pretty easy

Literally just a butthurt revenge tax. They based their budget on us remaining and now they face a contribution black hole when we leave, so they're trying to extort more money from us, even though we've been a net contributor for decades.

You post your whole life story on this site all the time. You use a tripcode. I've been reading the archives. I know all I need to know to make an accurate assessment, an accurate assessment that you were not able to deny without deluded, defensive, one line posts. Grow up and wake up. You sit here day in, day out, night after night and you cannot even accept that it's holding you back, that you need to take a break? Why are you so opposed to that fact?

I suppose those notions of intertextuality and the like are right up your street in consideration of your appreciation of Eliot, I must admit I do like it when an author makes light of the great sea of literary output that has gone before him and is a necessary precursor to his work in an unpretentious way. Make sure you ask for copies and examples of the highest marked essays so you have an idea of not what is good, but what is marked well and you're on course for a first which looks good in pretty much any any degree desu. Even if something sounds great and really interesting, one of my favorite essays was about how Vladimir and Estragon in 'Waiting for Godot' are denied the 'praxis' necessary of the fall of tragic figures in the Greek tradition and the implications of this in Beckett's use of generic conventions, but got BTFO in the marking, and rightly so to some extent, because writing a well marked essay on that would have required half of my word count explaining my terms in a much more functional depth than I did. Reminds me a bit of what my pal told me of his last lecture of a 'Medieval Women in Literature' module in the third year- 'Now remember - if you're going to write about the patriarchy in your essays remember you're going to have to define it!' All 20 or so of the girls (95% of the final-year class) scribble down this precious nugget of information intensely.

Not my whole life story, as I said and as you would know if you had good reading comprehension, I left stuff you.

It's actually laughable that you think you know me enough to say that being here has had a negative impact on my life. The fragments of time that I do spend here don't add up to more time than anyone would spend on a hobby if they really liked their hobby. If I wasn't talking to people here I'd probably be playing FPSs and speaking to people online, only it wouldn't be as engaging and I wouldn't get as much satisfaction out of it.

My reading comprehension is fine, thank you. If you had adequate reading comprehension, you would have understood that I never implied that you ever being here was negatively impactful on your life. I said continuing to be here, posting so politically, day after day after day is a hindrance and you need to take a break. Notice I said "break." I didn't say "leave and never come back" or that you should never have come here in the first place. You're a 24 year old KHV NEET who's never had a job. You live with your parents. You're talking about killing yourself and suicidal ideation a lot. But you don't need to take a break? Okay. Stay here and die then.
