This makes sense, because Jesus hated the ways of the old testament and tried to abolish those laws, by saying that they were "fulfilled" and no longer needed. Even Apostle Paul Hated the Jewish religion.

Yeah, we do technically deserve death for disobeying our parents. Jesus also said if you've ever been angry with your brother that you have murdered him in your heart. A perfect God demands perfection, and does not grade on a curve. That's where Jesus' shed blood at the Cross, and God's infinite mercy come in to play. The Law of Moses was made to make us aware of how Holy God is and convict us of sin - it points to our need for God's grace towards fallen humanity.

Yes you are partly correct. We are imperfect and God accepts us how we are, but Christ made it very clear that we are to strive to be like God Himself in character. Matthew 5:48 - "Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."
