When it costs $1325 just to rent a space in a trailer park in the LA suburbs. I can't even afford to be trailer trash.

Does the rest of the country think this is absurd?
>>
>>134587009

lolz wtf, rent a space for 1300?? xDDDDD
>>
Move away. Problem solved.
>>
I read that some of those LA trailer parks aren't your typical trailer parks.

They have custom 'trailors' and the people are actually wealthy -- the parks are holdovers from long ago that only exist because the land can't be converted to a typical suburb
>>
>>134587315
This costs nearly twice what it does to rent a 800 SF commercial unit.
>>
my girlfriend and i thought about moving to seattle or sf after we graduated. well oops. looks like there is another housing crash about to happen.
>>
>>134587009
Look up the ten most expensive places to live in USA. 4/10 are in California.
Really activates those almonds.
>>
$700 a month rent in the Mexican shit hole of El Monte Califonria.
>>
How about you just buy it, pay $26000 and be done with it fucking poorfag xD
>>
>>134587009
California is becoming a meme.
>>
>>134587009
whats the problem? I pay over that in DC for a one bedroom apartment.
>>
Whats the issue. Theyre only 30k to buy. Unless the neighborhood is shit it seems like an easy buy.
>>
looks kinda like a really shiity diner.
>>
>>134589355
You still need to pay to park it somewhere unless you own land.
>>
>>134589533
>Whats the issue. Theyre only 30k to buy
see>>134589710
>>
>>134589710
Then don't be a nigger and go buy land.
>>
>>134589482
your an idiot if you pay that much for a one bedroom apartment, try coming to phoenix or another part of arizona you can get a one bedroom for 500-600 bucks
>>
you need to move out of the city, thats rediculious.
>>
>>134587752
Yah Im not too sure what OP is bitching about here. I pay 1300$ for my downtown apartment in a city of a million here. Id pay that much in a heartbeat to live in LA if I was a tranny whore.
>>
>>134589987
oh well 3br/2 ba that ain't reall bad. but what do i know i've mostly lived in the same spot for 35 years.
>>
>>134589895
Nah, too many beaner. Anyways what I do I probably cant get a job there. I already have a plot of land outside of DC for a house. Im just saving a little more before I build out there.
>>
>>134589862
So that will be another $50,000 if you're really lucky and the city probably isn't friendly to having some mobile home put there. They want a real structure.
>>
>>134590285
Build a home then unless you are some gypsy nigger. Also $49,000.00 is nothing from where Im at. I would be lucky to get that.
>>
>>134590538
>spending 50k on 1/10th of an acre
wew
>>
>>134590595
welcome to DC
>>
>>134590538
I thought the price was too good to be true. Its a non buildable lot. The city calls it a drainage easement. If a vacant lot could be had in the suburbs it would host $350,000 plus.
>>
>>134587009
Its simple. We must remove the wetback. Electing him was the first step
>>
>>134590889
They're living 3 families to a $1300 two bedroom apartment or paying $850 to live in a garage.
>>
lol you could get 2 1/2 cuck pods for that price

>How small is too small? Inside the 28 sq ft, $500-month 'pod' an illustrator built into his friend's San Francisco apartment
>Peter Berkowitz, 25, constructed a tiny bedroom pod in the living room of his friend's San Francisco apartment
>One bedroom apartments in the city rent for $3,500 per month compared to his $508 per month to live in a pod
>The pod is equipped with a fold-down desk, cushioned backboard that's slanted and LED lights for reading
>He believes pods can provide a 'needed fix' for people who want to add a bedroom to apartments without rent rising
>His eight-foot-long pod is also equipped with a sliding door and has room to store his books and clothing

time to grow your hair out n join a commune in nevada.
>>
>>134591424

I think people fleeing California are raising prices all over the Southwest. I could move to Pahrump Nevada but still costs $55,000 for a single wide on one acre.
>>
>>134587009

That is a bit high but lot fees for parks may include other things. I am not sure but power and water and what not may be included which would help make up for the charge.

The big one is tax. Depending on the value of that land most likely the lion's share of that is tax.
>>
>>134587009
That's double my rent for a studio and I'm drowning. So if I doubled my income I could be trailer trash.
>America
>>
A condo in about the same area costs $300,000 with a $240/ month HOA fee and I'd have to pay property tax on top of all that.
>>
>>134587009
This is what happens when you import millions of third world savages who will gladly split that space 4 ways.
>>
>>134587009

so leave. california is shit anyway, and about to be earthquaked/tsunamid
>>
>>134587009
Mortgage on my acre lot/1300 sq ft house is $850 a month in Louisiana
>>
>>134594412
About 15 years ago some Vietnamese moved in next door to my mom's place and turned the house into three apartments plus a illegal addition. They tore up the back yard and turned it into a farm that the old folks tend to all day. So now a single family house now has 5 cars parked there. The suburbs were never designed for this.
>>
>>134587009
>Move someplace that isnt utter dog shit.
>Buy a few acers of land for $10,000.
>Buy a trailer for $25,000.
>Buy a dumb above ground pool for $140.
>Livin the dream.
>>
>>134587009
Hopefully o c e a n m a n will take cali by the hand soon.
>>
>>134587009
It's the tech yuppies who always come in and drive up the prices of these areas. San Francisco for example was still affordable back then
>>
im finding it to be great

my father is renting one apartment in the sf bay for 2200 and one in la west wood area for 2600

the income covers both mortgages and any taxes, even after income taxes, plus leaving off a couple hundred extra each AND both properties are valued over half a mil even though we bought one in 99 for 180k and the other for 350k

Chances are some day once its all paid off ill use the extra cash to pay for fine cars (mclaren/ferrari) and trips to italy.

Although my job should be good enough eventually after im done interning to afford those thigns anyways

I'm more worried about the taxes than any of that shit. Nevada looks nice for its lack of a state income tax.
>>
>>134595345
yea nevada and texas both

i hope to find a job someday in texas, although im worried its got some terribly humid and hot weather.
>>
There is a company called Blackstone something that oboma bailed out to the tune of 400 mil in the last days of his rule. They do this shit
>>
>>134587694
Exactly correct.

The economics of location, location, location cannot be avoided. Once upon a time those parks were in the middle of nowhere but now that they're in the middle of prime real estate, they're valuable.

If you don't like it, then don't live here. I don't understand why people cry about this shit.
>>
>>134595907
>I don't understand why people cry about this shit.
A bag boy can change jobs, lifestyle and location a lot easier than a business owner.

>Rent soaring
>Regulations make it so you can't build more housing
>State takes in 150,000 illegals a year
>Highest poverty and homeless rate of any state

I swear California is gonna turn into the dystopia from Soylent Green within the next 10 years
>>
There are loads of beautiful rural places I'd love to live in California but it doesn't matter how far you run you're still subject to their taxes and regulation.

This also includes NO furniture, no fridge, no dryer, no washer. Only thing that comes with a house here is an oven.
>>
>>134587009
Its intentional. Economics is a surefire way to get the smart people to move the hell out. The rich can always fly out on private choppers once SHTF

America has no room for poor people!

Move back home.

Why does everybody think they have a "right" to move to california when they aren't capable of being economically successful here?

Rent around here is $100-700 for your average white trash trailer home. Apartments about $400-$1100 depending on area of town.
>>
Colorado here. Studio apartment was 300 a month before the weed migrant crisis, now it's 900-1k a month since the out of staters will pay it gladly.
>>
>>134587009
Property taxes, other taxes, and the competition with illegal workers driving down wages are part of the problem.
The other FACT often overlooked, is that California is broke, and those leftists in power need to raise revenue (higher taxes) so they can keep buying peoples votes with free gibs.
Revenue which basically comes from the only producing class in this nation....whites.
>>
>>134598546
No where in Colorado was there rent for 300 fucking dollars, you're so full of shit.
>>
>>134590808
i was just going to say I see a drain channel, not buildable.
>>
>>134587009
Not to mention that once Trump's tax plan hits, California will suffer the most since no state tax deduction means that even less of your income you'll take home so your rent will rise above 66% of your take-home wealth, and people will have less disposable income so businesses will suffer except maybe corporate businesses. Hence there will be less jobs, hence less taxes collected and that means libshits will have to cut their runaway spending or (more likely) make California Brazil-tier with 80% taxes which just kills the economy further. California will become even worse of a shithole. Do not live here.
