Taxing the legal sale for recreational purposes has been a proven revenue generator.

Stop spending money locking up people for a goddamn plant that grows out of the ground. Pretty much all the other plant-derived drugs require processing. Weed literally grows out of the fucking ground, gets cut down, dried out, and is viable from there.

Plus, it'll take away a huge talking point from idiots who would otherwise have nothing to talk about. I'm tired of listening to retard stoners blather on about "muh legalize it".

Don't really see a reason to make it illegal. There are worse legal drugs widely available.

Adults who freely choose a more "interesting" lifestyle can smoke weed without consequences. I know many such people.

Teenagers are sheltered and don't realize just how "far out" these people live though. Some of them are highly intelligent STEM workers who use weed instead of xanax to function.

Less harmful than liquor. Big lie that its harmless and non addictive. Its by nature addictive as a fuck, a short lived high followed by a crash. If you smoke daily and quit you'll get fever symptoms for a week and feel like shit for a couple months. Amotivational syndrome is real. The scene in Fear and Loathing where the anti weed guy is lecturing and Hunter looks down at his jizzed out pants is exactly correct.

I know Netherlands is 'weed lmao' the country. But it really isn't that bad. Like a solid 40% of people here smoke weed. And everyone above 18 has atleast tried it. Also, because we have our coffee shops it's pretty well regulated, so you know you're getting decent stuff. Ofcourse there are some degenerates, but they are mostly confined to randstad and some shitty cities.
