If Germany just kept going west and focused it's efforts there, it could have easily finished off the British, meanwhile it could have easily defended itself against any Russian attack from the east.

Germany could have waited until the 1950s to go for Russia, by then the Germans would of had Americas support.

Weather it was justified or not doesn't really matter. It was a bad move that lead to Germany losing the war.

Justified? Yea sure, destroying communism was and still is a good thing.
Was it a smart thing? Obviously no, they werent prepared for the logistical challenges involved.

Visit the USSR before the USSR visits you.

Strategically it was the only way for Germany to win the war at that point and Stalin would have invaded eventually anyway, so yes.

While red army did lose lots of commanders after cleansing but

Not to mention he fucked up Battle of Britan. Not finishing UK was huge mistake. Should have just push and do Koingslowe (UK invasion) force allies into peace and then get done with ruskies.
