The background checks suck makes it harder to get job. I've had people offer me jobs then change mind after background check. Depends on your crime though and if you have good family support. Usually a background check consists of some douche bag in a cubicle checking the court dockets of the city, county, and state that you live in, and sometimes the surrounding areas. I've been arrested, I have unresolved court cases for a long time now and I've had plenty of jobs in between when they surfaced and today.

He suspended our sentence but, we still had to pay surcharge and court fee. I asked if I could do anything besides money. One of my close friends dad's went to prision on sex offender charges (even tho it was bullshit friends sister is phsycho bitch who lied to cops about being raped) anyway, he was in a tough prision in Houston but since he was in his 40's everyone left him alone because being able to beat up an old man isn't really an accomplishment you're just a bitch. Also since he was decently educated he helped other prisoners write defense letters and all this stuff so that the prisons couldent Jew them into serving more time. All in all I learned that rapists need to be fucking dealt with accordingly but the laws need to be updated so if there is a mistake and u get falsely accused and convicted you don't get your life ruined
