Her platform sounded great but it was all magical thinking. It's not a party that is there to win. Closing all abroad military bases? Turbo-protectionism to guarantee everyone a well-paying job in the green industry? Yeah, no, I don't think so. The US is not letting China take over the world.

The green party probably collaborated with the republicans to steal votes from the democrats. The libertarian party probably collaborated with the democrats to steal vote from the republicans. It's the main effect they have on the elections.
