If you get easily burned out by fiction, AS is definitely not where to start with Rand. It's a 1200 page behemoth designed to totally turn your worldview inside out. Once I picked it up I didn't put it down until I'd gone through it twice, 2 weeks later. You might want to do that if you're instantly drawn into it, like I was, but if you'd like to take Rand more slowly, the reading order I'd recommend is

I can't recommend Ayn Rand enough, she really was a unique mind and will help you SORT YOURSELF OUT with the moral force of 1000 Jordan Petersons. Reading Rand is like entering a different world, for those who resonate with her. You'll find that if you agree with her you won't see anything or anyone the same again. It's like taking the redpill a second time.
(That's why she's often called a 'cult', despite Objectivists having next to no similarities with actual cult members - we are highly individualistic, critical, etc. Objectivism disagrees with literally everything else on the intellectual marketplace and refuses to compromise an inch on anything.)

Atlas is her most famous work, but you will be reading more than a thousand pages and going nowhere. If you like the story that's great, but her ethics aren't as easy to catch.

Technically true, but The Virtue of Selfishness is only a condensation in abstract terms. It's like saying that all you need to do to 'get' Christianity is read the Wikipedia page. You'd understand the essentials, in abstract terms, but you'd have only a foggy idea as to what they would mean for real life and for your life in particular. That's the purpose of Atlas Shrugged and fiction in general - to project an image of abstract ideas as they work in practice, as a sort of prototype or engineer's model to illustrate and concretize the abstract principles of engineering.

Well, I guess that's true too, it is not the same to understand something intellectually than to pick it up in a subliminal-emotional manner. I am biased because I dislike most of fiction and to me it feels like beating around the bush, but I recognize that what theory you have in your mind isn't that much important, it's the willingness to act correctly.

But have in mind in this specific case we're talking about a thousand and a hundred pages of Atlas Shrugged versus barely two hundred pages of VoS. And in these two hundred you have lots of practical examples that do the same trick as reading the fiction. I believe if people recommended Virtue of Selfishness over Atlas Shrugged there would be more people more knowledgeable of the specifics of her ethics, not just a general sense of them.

Freedom of association is a more powerful segregation enforcer than any government policy that has ever existed. Americans after 1965 don't know how a free society is suposed to work anymore. The refusal of associate with someone, the right to discrimination, once restored will naturally lead to a society in which ethnic groups help those of their kin more often than they will those of other ethnicities. The reason why so many minorities are so uppity in America is because of policies like Affirmative action, Welfare programs directed to them and many other policies that enable them to parasitize the most productive ethnicities.

The most likely outcome of a libertarian (minarchist / private law) society is voluntary racial segregation. Without government to protect people from the consequences of their actions, with no wealth redistribuing programs people are more likely than ever to stick to their own. You may argue that most progressives and pro-multi-kulti people would still be willing to stick with minorities but the truth is most of people defending that kind of policies are sheltered middle-to-upper class that know nothing about the real world and how these minorities actually behave. They'd suffer the full consequences of their actions if they ever did that and most likely change their minds.

The cause of moral degeneration in society is bad incentives caused by the welfare state. People are not degenerated by nature, they are only when they can get away with it.

Libertarianism is not anti identitarian. Not enforcing something with a govermnent does not equal to combatting it. If anything leaving identity matters to the individual will make discrimination far more effective than if it was left to the government, and also more legitimate.

Realistic libertarians don't expect to government, out of the magic of democracy, to start enforcing property rights properly, or to start privatizing en masse everything it has unjustly taken control of. Developed nation states in the modern era are largely bankrupt because new technologies enable the individual to escape government control by finding alternatives to government services, evading taxation and many other ways (look up agorism). Most of these states will eventually collapse and fragment in smaller sovereignties that will be more easily controlled in an ethnic basis. Eventually these sovereignties, due to the incentives of the information age and technology, will fragment so much that will become irrelevant and might even be replaced by city-states, or, as in the ancap model, private cities or communities with their own law enforcement forces.

It's not that we have to get the state to do X in order of our ideas to work, it's that, eventually, whatever the state tries to do will become irrelevant.

A good example of what private societies would be like is Atlantic Station. Of course it's not 100% but it's the most approximated thing there is:

People just ignored the government officials and did what benefitted the most, which was to àrtake in revolutionary free markets (contraband, smuggling). basically you need redefine the way they see capitalism and socialsim. You need to clarify that the negitive impacts of "capitalism and multinational companies" on OUR NATIONS, OUR PEOPLE, is not the result of free trade or capitalism. Whats happening to our nations is NOT the result of OUR PEOPLE WORKING TOWARDS OUR BEST INTERESTS ( this is important, capitalism is you and your people working for their best interests, repeat the fuck out of this point) but rather the state is doing whats best for THEIR KIKE INTERESTS.
